Cabell Cox is a native of Charlottesville, Virginia. and attended the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. He graduated with a degree in Landscape Architecture (with an emphasis in graphics and design) and minored in Horticulture and Landscape Management. Cabell is a LEED accredited professional and has worked on regional community planning projects with The Cox Company here in Charlottesville and crafted planting plans & site designs for the Byers Design Group in Charleston, SC.

He understands the dynamic relationship between the landscape and the people who interact with it on a daily basis. As a proud local of Charlottesville, Cabell is passionate about the Virginia Piedmont, its people and cultural identity, and advocates for the kind of smart growth that would see the community prosper.
When he is not at work, Cabell spends most of his time outdoors hiking, flyfishing, or pursuing his love of sports, travel, photography, art, and gardening.

Hunter McPadden grew up in Albemarle County on a small farm south of Charlottesville in North Garden, Virginia. He attended Virginia Tech after high school where he received a degree in Civil Engineering. Hunter has several years of experience with design-build and contracting firms in Charlottesville, where he acquired the necessary skills and experience in design, management, and implementation of design.
Growing up, Hunter gardened every spring and summer helping to cultivate everything from asparagus and peas to strawberries and wine grapes. He also raised and bred chickens, as well as a dairy cow named Elsie. Living on a small farm he personally experienced the pride and self-fulfillment that comes with a meal that has been provided entirely from your own property. Hunter enjoys sports, hunting, fishing and generally being outside on a spring day.
A firm believer that the national green movement is cost efficient, aesthetic, and it is the bright future of America, Hunter believes we all need to be more diligent and aware of the positive impact we can have.
